Burntwood Health and Wellbeing Centre Officially Opened
The new Burntwood Health and Wellbeing Centre has now been officially opened.
Alex Fox MBE, Chairman of South Staffordshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) officially opened the Centre, in Burntwood, developed in partnership with NHSolutions and architects Hulme Upright.
Mr Fox said: “The opening of the centre has created a tremendous service in what was a very under doctored area of South Staffordshire. The PCT would like to thank all the people and organisations who have been involved in this project including NHSolutions, Extra Space and architects Hulme Upright who completed the development ahead of schedule.
The centre will be a multi-purpose hub, providing the building blocks for a healthier and stronger local community through a focus on integrated health, well-being and fitness, all in one building providing an opportunity for statutory and voluntary organisations to provide health and wellbeing services for all age groups.
