Bentilee Neighbourhood Centre
Bentilee Neighbourhood Centre is the latest concept in public service centres with scores of services under one roof.
The £50 million centre, designed by the Practice, provides a one stop centre for major services to local people.
Consulting a doctor, taking out a library book or getting advice on money matters are just three things that are available at the centre, which is jointly run by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the Stoke-on-Trent Primary Care Trust.
The Bentilee Centre is only one of a handful across the country and has been funded through a Private Finance Iniative.
The council hopes to use the centre as a model for other similar buildings across the city.
