The Snow Hill
The Snow Hill will be the Midlands flagship “Places of Change” scheme, a national government funded initiative which seeks to transform the homeless hostel system.
This project for Midland Heart proposes a 20 no. residential unit new build extension to a refurbished building and incorporating a further 68 no. units and Social Enterprise to create a unique community. Inspired by the Snow Hill’s existing canal side mural, the scheme seeks to exploit canalside visual linkages.
The project is at Tender stage with Planning Permission obtained November 2009. Start on-site is anticipated for May 2010 with completion due the end of 2011.
