Philip Wootton
Philip came to North Staffordshire from Milton Keynes having qualified at De Montfort University Leicester. Since joining the Practice, Philip has worked on a broad range of projects for the commercial, residential, leisure, ecclesiastical and education sectors.
He has developed a particular interest in building conservation and ecclesiastical architecture, and is on the approved panel of Architects for Lichfield Church of England Diocese. Philip is also a graduate of the SPAB Repair of Buildings Course, and is registered as an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC). He is also a former President of the North Staffordshire Society of Architects.
Philip has worked on, amongst other projects involving listed buildings including the Burslem Community Arts College, The Dudson Centre, a former Pot Bank, The Sutherland Institute a former technical institute for the Ceramic Industry and most recently the conversion of The Cheddleton Hospital Water Tower near Leek to form a single dwelling. He is currently working on the repair of fire damage to, and the general refurbishment of, St James Church Audley, a Grade II listed building.
