Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village

Professional architectural services

Work is now complete on the Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village in Woodhouse, Sheffield.

The development incorporates 209no. 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 9no. bungalows set around a central village complex and was formally opened at the end of March 2008 with residents moving in from April.

The 3, 4 and 5 storey development, sits on a steeply sloping site, formally occupied by the Woodhouse school and has magnificant views over the surrounding countryside. Two stained glass windows were rescued from the vandalised school hall and are incorporated within the new village centre as a feature. Existing stonework from the school was also saved and has been used as a feature within the small lounge.
