Work is now complete on site with the St. Helens Retirement Village on the former Rainhill Hospital site on Elton Head Road, St. Helens.
The building has been named Reeve Court Retirement Village and was formally opened on the 1st October 2004.
The development includes 174 one and two bedroom apartments and 32 one and two bedroom bungalows all located around a communal village centre, which includes a fitness suite, I.T. room, restaurant, bar, woodwork room, craft room and village hall.
The building also includes a three storey landscaped Winter Garden, which is accessed from the village centre at ground floor level and has apartments on either side of the central courtyard space. The Winter Garden will also be used as a recreation area with a purpose made astro-turf bowling mat.
