This brand new, state-of-the-art entertainment complex brings Uttoxeter a long-awaited three-screen cinema and eight-lane bowling alley.
The building is three stories high to achieve maximum daytime and night visibility with its shape deriving from an existing sewer across the site which has a non-build easement.
By reflecting this easement line we were able to give the building a sculptural feel, with sections of the ground and first floor foyers sliding under and out of the building, together will the expression of the service zone at second floor level. This sculptural effect is further enhanced by treating differing elements of the building as blocks of colour or texture.
