This £1.5 million project in Uttoxeter incorporates the design of additional annexe accommodation to an existing Care Home.
Work includes a 24 unit extension with en suite assisted shower rooms, a new day room facility, utility accommodation such as assisted bathrooms, utility space and an enhanced kitchen and service access.
The extension also incorporates a series of ‘broken’ monopitch roofs that are angled to relate to the East Staffordshire context and to help break up the form of the building. A simple palette of sustainable materials have been chosen to give the facility a light modern feel creating a positive environment for the buildings residents and operators.
