The Practice was commissioned to provide architectural services relating to major repairs to this historic church in Leek, Staffordshire.
Essential repairs to stonework, gutters and windows were carried out to an initial cost of £135,00 – funded in part by a previous THI grant of £73,000 but when work began workers discovered the building was in a greater state of disrepair than expected.
Although unlisted the church is a prominent building in the Leek conservation area and a vital community asset housing all sorts of events including mums and tots groups and regular coffee mornings.
